Examining the crummy winter up close

Filed under Weather climate by david brooks at 9:03 am

Having survived Town Meeting day (a harrowing time in the local-newspaper business), I’m going to detox with the family at Lonesome Lake hut for a couple days, and see the crummy winter we’ve had up close.(Can I blame our low snowfall on Global Warming? No, I suppose I have to be reasonable, unlike the “DC storm disproves global warming” crowd.) Anyway, no GraniteGeek posting from the White Mountains.

Perhaps you should have read Doug Webster's column on here. Snowfall is only low compared to the last 2 years, otherwise, it's right around normal across the region.

Global warming is the huge problem for all of us. The life of our planet is decreasing very firmly with it, so the conditions arise as you have faced. Hope for the best.
