Bear studied in nuisance research is shot for being a nuisance
Filed under Environment by david brooks at 4:03 pm
From the Portsmouth Herald: A radio-collared bear being tracked as part of a University of New Hampshire professor’s research project about how bears interact with people was killed last month by Nottingham police after it tried to break into a woman’s home. The Union-Leader has a story, too.
I can’t think of anything to add except a feeble joke or two (”I guess bears are even more trouble than graduate students”), so let’s leave it at that.
