This occurred in Scotland - but, hey, we’ve got seagulls in New Hampshire, too, so it’s kind of local! The wonderful Snopes site that examines urban legends checked into a report that a seagull has learned to sneak into a shop in Aberdeen, Scotland, when the owner isn’t looking, and swipe bags of Doritos. A spokesman for the Royal Society for the Protection of Animals admits "I’ve never heard of anything like this before." The above photo is from Snopes.com
