First federal regulation for nano-tech

UNH’s Nano Group and all those Massachusetts areas looking to expand nano-technology jobs will be interested - dismayed, actually - in this news: The Washington Post reports that the EPA will regulate a number of "germ-killing" nanoproducts, those that use silver nano-sized particles, due to questions about long-term effects of all that bacteria-killing material being washed down drains. It appears to be the first federal regulation aimed stricty at billionth-of-a-meter-sized materials.
